No One Is Perfect ……

There was a mail in ballot sent to you postmarked May 13th in regards to the current vote on a change to the way we handle healthcare. Under further inspection it was discovered that the ballot contains a date typo. It states that the ballot must be in by May 14th, which is impossible. The actual due date for the ballot to be in the union P.O. Box is JUNE 18th.

If any questions, Or if you haven’t received your ballot yet contact David Allen by your usual means of contact or by this site at

Don’t throw away your shot….

Vaccination efforts have FINALLY been released to the hospitality and event worker category. The local news reports difficulties in obtaining an appointment to get a Covid vaccine but here are some links to a few different sites that should be productive.

Vaccinateri.org – an extremely broad search engine encompassing a reach of 100 miles. Only lists appointments that are available up to two weeks in advance. By far the easiest site to book an appointment based on your availability thatI’ve encountered yet.
Carenewengland.org – Leave your name and number and well call you back. In other words, it’s a signup list. Answer a few questions and they’ll notify you when your availability opens up

Walgreens.com – allows you to search for appointments by zip code, however, seems to require a username signup.
Cvs.com – Appointments fill up fast, checking every few hours resulted in a few openings.
Lifespan.org – Currently only offering vaccines to individuals 60 and older or with underlying health conditions

You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take, so don’t throw it away
